Chief Strategy Officer, Karmarama

Mark was a journalist and a brand marketer before moving agency side. He worked at Ogilvy and Carlson before setting up Crayon’s planning department in 2000. Crayon became Karmarama in July 2012. A life-long data-driven marketer, Mark was recently elected Chair of the DMA Board. Mark kicked off his three-year leadership tenure by calling on brands to be more authentic in their relationship with consumers. Mark is also President of Pride AM, the UK’s advertising LGBT+ network. Pride AM is lobbying for fairer LGBT+ representation in advertising, and for an inclusive, prejudice-free creative working environment.
