Integrative Psychotherapist

Fawzia Bheekhun is an Integrative Psychotherapist, transformational life coach, project coordinator for Refugee Council, and a registered clinical supervisor for trainee and qualified psychotherapists. Fawzia is the founder of ‘Emotional Wellbeing’ a company dedicated to providing psychotherapy and coaching services and workshops.

With over 12 years’ experience in the field of psychotherapy, she is a leading authority in both male and female cases of human trafficking, torture victims, war victims, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and psychological abuse. Her projects include The Regional Refugee Project and The Epione Project.

She has worked with highly respected organisations such as The Refugee Council – one of the UK’s leading charities working directly with refugees and asylum seekers, supporting them to rebuild their lives; Solace Women’s Aid – an independent charity providing life-saving support to over 11,000 women and children; and Mind – a mental health charity supporting anyone experiencing mental health issues whilst also raising awareness and understanding.

The vision is human empowerment, to empower both genders that regardless of your past experiences, mental health issues or background you are a worthy of receiving love, confidence, respect, education and opportunity. That each and every one of us deserve the life that we envision.
